God’s Word is like a road map

To guide us in life’s maze;

When tangled roads confuse our heart…

His Word directs our ways.

God’s Word, a gentle lotion brings,

Healing torn and anxious minds;

It soothes the worry and the fears

With peace that faith refines.

God’s Word is like fresh water

Poured on dry and thirsty land

Its clear, refreshing shower

Brings life at God’s command.

God’s Word is like great treasure,

A deep and golden mine;

For those who wisely seek it,

True wisdom they will find.

God’s Word is like the finest sword,

To keep our hearts from sin;

When in a battle for our soul,

His Word will help us win!

God’s Word will never pass away,

It stands and will endure;

All Heaven and Earth may perish,

But God’s Word is firm and sure.
