Human scholarship is continually being reevaluated, reexamined, rewritten, repackaged, and re-explained as “truth” – mankind’s “truth.” There are 600,000 to one million estimated new internationally or self-published books each year, exploring, revisiting, or expanding information on widely diverse subjects, theories, data, or genres.  Algorithms estimate approximately 130+ million individual books have been written throughout history.

No brilliant human source, be it scholar, scientist, philosopher, or sage has ever originated an accurate understanding or equation capable of sustaining the supreme theory of universal truth, from his or hers’ limited perspective, given humanities’ mortal impermanence and inherent limitations.

Human inability is now being replaced with Artificial Intelligence – which itself, having been constructed by human elements, has systemic limitations, flaws and dangers, even though it has enormous informational and learning capacities and benefits.

In contrast, Almighty God who alone originated the Truth of His Word, and infallibly empowered human authorship of the Bible, has given 100% accuracy in its supernatural foretelling of what is going to take place. The Word of God’s Spiritual dynamics empower those who are transformed through Christ’s redemption and authority.  God’s Word is perpetually relevant, with capability of being comprehended by a breadth of imperfect humanity:

~ Speaking Clearly to Diverse Ethnic Generations and Cultures,

~ Spanning the Beginning of time, to the End of time.

~ Remaining relevant:

oFrom the darkest of ages, and those in the remotest cultures and places on earth…

oTo the most enlightened intellectual and technologically advanced persons and societies.

oIncluding the simple child-like mind, to the most astute sage.

Only God could Author such a Book.  A Book to guide each person Truthfully and wisely through his or her individual lifetime, bringing Salvation for the Redeemed with assurance and hope of eternal life after physical death!

There is nothing more powerful than the Word of God.

Through His Word, God made everything in the Universe.

Through His Word, God sustains all things.

Genesis 1:3

3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light…

Hebrews 1:2,3

2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.  3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.

  1. God’s Word Gives Understanding into the Requirements which God has for Humankind

~ The Bible shows us how to respond to God

We have sinned against the Laws which God has established in the Universe (Rom. 3:23; 6:23)

We deserve punishment and death (Rom. 5:12)

God has provided an acceptable sacrifice for our sin through His Son Jesus’ death on the Cross (Eph. 5:2; Heb. 1:3; 9:14; 10:12)

Those who accept this Gift of Eternal Life are redeemed from their just punishment and are restored into God’s fellowship (John 1:12; Col. 1:12-14; Gal. 4:4-5)

~ The Bible Protects from False Ideologies

There are many ways which may seem right, but which will end in death and disaster     (Pr. 14:12; 1 Tim. 6:3–5; Gal. 1:8–9; 2 Tim. 4:3–4)

~ The Bible teaches how to live our lives (Ps.119:11)

~ The Bible gives some Analogies for Greater Understanding of what God’s Word is Like:

  1.   Like a Lamp (Ps. 119:105; 2 Peter 1:19)

  2.   Like Fire and a Hammer (Jer. 23:29)

  3.   Like Bread (Matt. 4:4; John 6:48)

  4.   Like a Rock – a stable foundation (Matt. 7:24-25)

  5.   Like a Sword (Eph. 6:17; Heb. 4:12)

  6.   Like Refined Silver (Ps. 12:6)

  7.   Like Milk (1 Peter 1:25-2:2)

  8.   Like Seed (Matt. 13:3-8; 18-23; Mk. 4:14-20)

  1. God’s Word Gives Comfort

~ The Bible gives stability (Ps. 119:89)

~ The Bible gives security (Ps. 56:4; 37:31)

~ The Bible gives hope (Ps. 119:28–29, 81, 92–93)

  1. God’s Word Provides Nourishment so We can Grow into Loving, Gracious and Mature Individuals (Ps. 119:130; 2 Peter 3:18)

  1. God’s Word Gives Assurance and Hope of Eternal Life (John 3:15-16, 36; 17:2-3; Rom. 2:6-8; 15:4; Gal. 6:7–8 Titus 1:1-2; 3:4-7; 1 John 5:11–13)

The 10 Commandments establish

the basis of God's Laws for the human race

Exodus 20:1-17

1 And God spoke all these words: 2 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

3 "You shall have no other gods before me.

4 "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 "You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

8 "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

12 "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

13 "You shall not murder.

14 "You shall not commit adultery.

15 "You shall not steal.

16 "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

17 "You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."

We are to diligently teach our children the Word of God

Deuteronomy 6:6-9 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.

Deuteronomy 11:18-21 18 Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 20 Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates, 21 so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land that the LORD swore to give your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.

Proverbs 6:20-23 20 My son, keep your father's commands and do not forsake your mother's teaching. 21Bind them upon your heart forever; fasten them around your neck. 22 When you walk, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; when you awake, they will speak to you. 23 For these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the corrections of discipline are the way to life….

Psalm 78:5-7

5  He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our forefathers to teach their children, 6 so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. 7 Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.

A Hebrew king was to copy out the law of God himself - for his own kingdom

Deuteronomy 17:18, 19

18 When he takes the throne of his kingdom, he is to write for himself on a scroll a copy of this law, taken from that of the priests, who are Levites.  19 It is to be with him, and he is to read it all the days of his life so that he may learn to revere the LORD his God and follow carefully all the words of this law and these decrees….

The Laws of God were to be clearly displayed

when the Israelites entered the Promised Land

Deuteronomy 27:2, 3

2 When you have crossed the Jordan into the land the LORD your God is giving you, set up some large stones and coat them with plaster.  3 Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you.

Deuteronomy 27:8

8 And you shall write very clearly all the words of this law on these stones you have set up."

Deuteronomy 27:12-26

14The Levites shall recite to all the people of Israel in a loud voice:

15 "Cursed is the man who carves an image or casts an idol -- a thing detestable to the LORD, the work of the craftsman's hands -- and sets it up in secret."

Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

16 "Cursed is the man who dishonors his father or his mother."

Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

17 "Cursed is the man who moves his neighbor's boundary stone."

Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

18 "Cursed is the man who leads the blind astray on the road."

Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

19 "Cursed is the man who withholds justice from the alien, the fatherless or the widow."

Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

20 "Cursed is the man who sleeps with his father's wife, for he dishonors his father's bed."

Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

21 "Cursed is the man who has sexual relations with any animal."

Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

22 "Cursed is the man who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother."

Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

23 "Cursed is the man who sleeps with his mother-in-law."

Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

24 "Cursed is the man who kills his neighbor secretly."

Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

25 "Cursed is the man who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person."

Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

26 "Cursed is the man who does not uphold the words of this law by carrying them out."

Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

Meditation and obedience to God's Laws bring

success and blessing

Psalm 1:1-2

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.

10 The fear of the LORD fell on all the kingdoms of the lands surrounding Judah, so that they did not make war with Jehoshaphat.

Nehemiah 8:1-8

1 all the people assembled as one man in the square before the Water Gate. They told Ezra the scribe to bring out the Book of the Law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded for Israel.

2 So on the first day of the seventh month Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly, which was made up of men and women and all who were able to understand. 3 He read it aloud from daybreak till noon as he faced the square before the Water Gate in the presence of the men, women and others who could understand. And all the people listened attentively to the Book of the Law.

4 Ezra the scribe stood on a high wooden platform built for the occasion. Beside him on his right stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah and Maaseiah; and on his left were Pedaiah, Mishael, Malkijah, Hashum, Hashbaddanah, Zechariah and Meshullam.

5 Ezra opened the book. All the people could see him because he was standing above them; and as he opened it, the people all stood up. 6 Ezra praised the LORD, the great God; and all the people lifted their hands and responded, "Amen! Amen!" Then they bowed down and worshiped the LORD with their faces to the ground.

7 The Levites -- Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan and Pelaiah -- instructed the people in the Law while the people were standing there. 8 They read from the Book of the Law of God, making it clear and giving the meaning so that the people could understand what was being read.

48 He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.

The Parable of the Sower

- Various ways the Word is received

Matthew 13:3-8 3 Then he told them many things in parables, saying: "A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop -- a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.

The Explanation of the Parable of the Sower

Matthew 13:18-23

18 "Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away.

22 The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful. 23 But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."

who does not believe God's Word anyway

God's Word transforms our minds

Romans 12:2

2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- his good, pleasing and perfect will.

God's Word gives us hope

Romans 15:4

4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

God's Word is foolish to the unbelieving world

- but the power of God for the believing

1 Corinthians 1:18

18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:12

12 We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

1 Corinthians 2:13

13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.

The history God recorded in His Word was to be an example for us - of both bad and good

1 Corinthians 10:11

11 These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come.

We should hold on to those things we have learned from the Scripture and should teach others the same

1 Corinthians 11:2

2 I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the teachings, just as I passed them on to you.

1 Corinthians 15:3–4

3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures….

We should encourage obedience to God’s Word through the enlivening empowerment of the Holy Spirit, not through legalistically following the letter of the Law, which actually kills Spiritual life

2 Corinthians 3:6

6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant -- not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

We should not distort the meaning of the Word of God

by deception or disobedience

2 Corinthians 4:2

2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

False teaching in the name of God's Word

should be condemned

Galatians 1:8

8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!

Galatians 1:9

9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!

1 Timothy 6:3-5

3 If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 4 he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions 5 and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.

God's Word is not fabricated

Galatians 1:11-12

11 I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up. 12 I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit

confirms God's Word - and His previous mystery - Salvation

Ephesians 1:13

13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit….

Ephesians 3:3-5 3 that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. 4 In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God's holy apostles and prophets.

1 Peter 1:11, 12

11 trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.  12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.

The Word of God purifies the Church

Ephesians 5:26

26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word....

The Word of God is our offensive Weapon

Ephesians 6:17

17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The Gospel - the Word of God in Salvation

- gives us hope of eternal life

Colossians 1:5

5 the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel...

1 John 5:11, 13

11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

God's Word shared together encourages the Body of Christ

Colossians 3:16

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

God's Word should be shared in His Power,

deep conviction and living obedience

1 Thessalonians 1:5

5 because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake.

Stand firm in what we have been taught from God's Word

2 Thessalonians 2:15

15 So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

1 Timothy 4:6

6 If you point these things out to the brothers, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, brought up in the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed.

2 Timothy 1:13

13 What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 2:15

15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

2 Timothy 3:15-17 15 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

God spoke His Word in various ways in the past,

but in these last days, God has spoken through His Son

Hebrews 1:1-2

1 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.

Pay careful attention to God's Word

so we do not drift away or harden our hearts

Hebrews 2:1-3

1 We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. 2 For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, 3 how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.

Hebrews 3:7-8

7 So, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you hear his voice, 8  do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the desert….

Hebrews 4:2

2 For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith.

The Word of God is piercing, penetrating and judging

Hebrews 4:12

12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

New Believers crave God's Word

1 Peter 2:2

2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation….

We should go deeper in God's Word than just the basics

Hebrews 5:12

12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!

New Birth is directly associated with the Word of Truth

James 1:18

18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

1 Peter 1:23-25 23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. 24 For, "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, 25 but the word of the Lord stands forever." And this is the word that was preached to you.

We should humbly accept and obey God's Word

and reject the moral filth and evil around us.  Don’t just “listen and leave”!

James 1:21-24 21Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.

One who listens and obeys God's Word will be blessed

James 1:25

25 But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it -- he will be blessed in what he does.

The unbeliever stumbles over the Word of God

through disobedience

1 Peter 2:7-8 7 Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, "The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone," 8 and, "A stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall." They stumble because they disobey the message -- which is also what they were destined for.

God gives us precious promises through His Word

2 Peter 1:4

4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

God's Word was given to us through holy men in the past

who spoke through the Power of the Holy Spirit

2 Peter 1:19-21

19 And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Revelation 1:1-3

1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2 who testifies to everything he saw -- that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

2 Peter 3:2

2 I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.

Jude 17

17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.

Revelation 1:17-19

17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

19 "Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later.

We need to stand up for the truth of the Word of God

which has been entrusted for us

Jude 3

3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.

Don't add or subtract from God's Word

Revelation 22:18-19

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. God will add to him the plagues described in this book.

Why the Word of God was Written

John 1:1–3, 14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 3:16

16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

John 20:31

31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

2 Timothy 3:16–17

16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Some Analogies of God’s Word

and a light for my path.

19 And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

  1. God’s Word is Like Fire and a Hammer

Jeremiah 23:29

29 “Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?

  1. God’s Word is Like Bread

Matthew 4:4

4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

John 6:48 (Jesus said)

48 I am the bread of life.

  1. God’s Word is Like a Rock

The Wise and Foolish Builders

Matthew 7:24–25

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

  1. God’s Word is Like a Sword

Ephesians 6:17

17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Hebrews 4:12

12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

  1. God’s Word is Like Seed

Mark 4:14–20 (see also Matt. 13:3-8; 18-23)

14 The farmer sows the word. 15 Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. 16 Others, like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once receive it with joy. 17 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 18 Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; 19 but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. 20 Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown.”

The Bible

is the Supernatural, Historical and Prophetically Accurate Account of God’s Son and Messiah,

Jesus Christ:

His First Coming was in Suffering and Sacrifice,

Redemption and Resurrection.

His Future Second Coming will be in Power and Glory

&

His Final Kingdom will be an Everlasting, Glorious Reign!

“Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
